Your neighborhood dream marketplace!
In my final Creative Coding project, I brought together several of my earlier explorations of dreams and thought experiments into a single interactive experience. You’re invited to browse an array of “dreams” available for purchase—each one a vivid journey into the unconscious. But here’s the catch: there is no checkout. To truly unlock these experiences, you have to shape your waking life to match them. After all, our dreams are byproducts of our daily experiences—from the routine tingle of a dental appointment to the sun-drenched nostalgia of childhood summers. In other words, if you’re longing to “buy” a dream of wandering through Brazil, maybe the real adventure is simply booking that flight and living it for real.

Project working with 3D in JavaScript, image classification through Teachable Machine, and HTML and CSS elements
This digital experience is my homage to Len Lye’s pioneering animations of the early 1930s—particularly Kaleidoscope and Tusalava, whose vibrant, pulsating forms achieved through experimental stop-motion techniques were decades ahead of their time. I was struck by the sense of transformation and evolution in his work, and chose the butterfly as my guiding metaphor for change and growth.
Here, you’re invited to zoom into an amber petri dish where delicate, butterfly-shaped organisms drift into view, each emergence accompanied by an almost unbearable buzz that amplifies the sense of commotion. At a moment’s notice, a flash of light reconfigures the scene, and everything shifts once more. When you need a moment of calm, simply press the space bar to pause and reflect.
